After graduated from the University of Tokyo, worked for major ad and telco companies, as well as a subsidiary of foreign startup.
Joined Castalia straight out of college in 2018, then became a manager of the Mobile Learning Division in 2020, and oversaw the development and sales divisions. She has been pursuing the possibilities of mobile education and new businesses in Asian and African countries such as Mongolia and Tanzania. When she visited Tanzania to provide mobile education to local active midwives, she witnessed firsthand the issues surrounding mothers and children, then launched the company's first digital healthcare project.

After graduating from Kyoto University, the Kyoto native started his career at the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (now Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications). After being involved in Japan's governmental IT policies for 14 years, he became the visiting professor at MIT's Media Lab. In September 2002, he was appointed Director of Stanford Japan Center-Research. Today he is one of the key persons who bridges industry, academia, and government, participating in numerous work groups and governmental organisations.
